Sundeep is passionate about health and gender equity and firmly believes that collaboration is the key for any successful organization.

She is a second-generation settler born and raised in Toronto with a four-year detour in Punjab, India where she lived with her grandparents. This detour cemented for her the critical importance of intercultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communication skills in all of our interactions. As a Desa Global Leadership DEI Consultant, Sundeep brings the skills she has honed for the past 15 years working with diverse stakeholders regionally and globally, successfully driving change in corporate spaces and complex systems.

Sundeep currently sits on the BIPOC Leadership and Inclusion Council for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. She has led the institutional EDI portfolios at the University of the Fraser Valley and the Waterloo Regional District School Board. At William Osler Health System she worked at the corporate level in strategy and in the award-winning Health Equity portfolio, which won Canada’s Best Diversity Employer for nine straight years. She is also an EDI consultant and facilitator for healthcare organizations, non-profits, tech startups, and private companies in Canada, India, Pakistan, Australia, and the United States – including TD Bank, Corus, and Lifeworks.

A proud global citizen, Sundeep spends her free time volunteering for organizations driving social and civic inclusion. As a self-professed natural connector, she loves connecting people with each other and to ideas. She holds a master’s degree from SOAS and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
