Sheena Williams

BIOGRAPHY




As a first-generation immigrant to Canada, Sheena knows first-hand the duality of growing up in two cultures. Having worked at Procter & Gamble for 10 years in a number of roles across sales, marketing and corporate strategy, she has seen first-hand the challenges and benefits of being a minority woman in the corporate world. Sheena is passionate about helping others discover what unique skill they have to showcase and shine. Her personal mantra is: “the dots all connect when you look back” so she’s enthusiastic about helping other minority professionals honour their heritage whilst communicating powerfully in the boardroom.

Sheena is a big believer in the power of self-development and life-long learning. She has continuously engaged as both participant and leader in self-development programs including Adult Learning at U of Toronto, Landmark and the Sterling Institute of Relationship.

Sheena believes in community and giving back. She is an active supporter of the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the Wishing Well Animal Sanctuary. Her favorite Sunday past-time is feeding pigs and horses on a farm.

Sheena has led project teams of 25 people. She is recognized for her love of collaboration and group brainstorming. As is evidence of her role at Desa Global Leadership and being forever action oriented, Sheena loves juicy problems, rallying a team and taking initiatives from start to finish.
